Six Months to Go!

Well...I've successfully failed at my attempt to blog everyday. The craziness of the weekend caught up with me yesterday and I totally spaced writing. Even though I missed a day, I'm still going to continue to write. So as you probably know, I'm getting married in July, my weddings just under six months away and I'm starting to feel the stress. One thing I accomplished this weekend was picking out invitations. We hit up a big sale at hobby lobby and I was able to find some DIY kits for a very reasonable cost. I'm happy there's one thing I check off my list! Here's a sample of what they look like!!!

The waters of mars

So, josh has me watching Dr. who and tonight we watched a episode about water on mars. It was very frightening and even being touched by a drop of water infects you. Now that the episode is over, I'm incredibly thirsty. This is what I call a dilemma...

All Work and A Litte Play

Seeing as today was a pretty slow day, I'd like to use this time to focus on work. I'm a Business Analyst, which means I crunch numbers and work with spreadsheets all day long. I really enjoy my job but sometimes things can get a little slow. So to spice things up, Josh got me "Inanimate Object Stickers" to decorate items in my office. Here you can see my plain calculator has been transformed into a friendly pal!

Hey...there's nothing wrong with having a little fun at work! Life's all about balance.

A Great Friend

So this is my first blog post from the blogger iPhone app. It seems pretty simple and I think it will be a great way for me to achieve my goal of posting a photo everyday.

Today I want to share a photo of my dear friend DeAnna and her son Brayden. DeAnna lives in CA and was visiting CO for the holidays. She heads back to Cali tomorrow and it always makes me sad when she leaves. Luckily I got to spend a little bit of time with De while she was visiting. Last night we went out to dinner! It was a BLAST!! I really hope she knows how much her lasting friendship means to me.

P.S. I was planning on posting this yesterday but happened to misplace my phone for the evening (which had the picture on it).

The Pictures Are In!

Today was such a great day! Josh and I got our engagment pictures back from the photographer. I've been super nervous to see how they turned out. I have to say, I really like them. Now that I've gotten them back, I've already designed our PERFECT save the date card and will be ordering them tomorrow. The picture above is one of my favs! Enjoy!

Shop Till You Drop

Today I had a fantastic time shopping with two of my best girlfriends, Tiffany and Justine! We meet up and went to IKEA! It was my first IKEA experience and I thought it was wonderful. I have so many ideas for decorating and bought some cute little knick-knacks while browsing. After IKEA, we did some major mall shopping. We started the great hunt for the perfect wedding shoes...but no luck yet. It was so great to catch up and chat!

Today's picture is of my dream bedroom. I would love to decorate my Master Bedroom like this; I love the neutrals and think it's incredibly calming. One day...

Happy New Year

With the start of a new year upon us, I've been thinking a lot about all of the milestones that I will encounter this year and I can't think of a better way to document it than with a photo blog! This year I'm going to attempt to upload a photo to this blog everyday. It will be a great way to recall wonderful moments of each day throughout the year.


For those who don't know me, my name's Nicole and I'm a 24 year old living in Colorado. I'm engaged and have a wonderful fiance named Josh. We live together and have an adorable dog named Rockie. Josh and I are getting married in July and I still have a ton of planning to do!!


Seeing as I'm starting this blog today (January 2nd), I figure I'm a day behind. So I've decided to add 2 pictures from new years.

Here's Josh and I right after we rang in the New Year! We spent the evening at my co-worker and friend, Hank's house. It was such a wonderful evening!

Now here we are at home with our dog Rockie saying "Yay for 2012!!"
